  • 4Rs for Fighting Medicare Fraud (PDF): Gives you information about how to protect yourself from Medicare fraud.
  • Medicare Rights and Protections (PDF): This official government booklet has information about your rights & protections in Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plan or other Medicare health plans, and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans; and, where to get help with your questions
  • Know Your Rights (EMTALA) (PDF): The Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA) guarantees access to emergency medical services at the emergency department regardless of a person's ability to pay.
  • Helpful phone numbers (PDF): Sometimes it can be confusing to decide which phone number to call when you’re looking for information. There are different phone numbers for things like Medicare billing questions, assistance programs, and Medicare fraud. This document will help you find the right numbers to call.
